Description
Parrot estate villa at the Englishman's bay is of Caribbean style, 4,000 sq.ft. under roofs connected to a 16 x 16 ft dream gazebo with terra cotta terraces all around. The house is set on an acre of landscaped garden filled with dozens of colourful tropical flowers and mature fruits trees, which attracts birdlife. The garden was already planted in 1995: bananas, mangos, avocados, limes, grape fruits, star fruits. We dreamt of having a paradise garden and it is what most guests wrote back on their e-mail. We planned it this way and our daily gardener took great care to create a pure Caribbean atmosphere, like the house. There are 20 overhanging bougainvillea baskets around the house and gazebo in a way that humming birds, bananaquits, bluejays and others are always around.There are many parrots, but being shy, they mostly fly over the house or stay away in the valley.
The rental is with a compact a/c car included.The villa sleeps 1 to 6 persons. Two bedrooms with 2 ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a 6 x 6ft poster bed, the second bedroom has 2 queen sized beds (to join or separate). 2 ensuite bathrooms. In addition there are 3 folding beds and a cot.The living room is 28 x 28 ft and has lovely rattan furniture. There is a modern kitchenette with all amenities, oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, mixer. A 6 ft teak bar with sea view as well. There is a radio-CD-cassette player with miscellaneous classic, jazz or Trinidad and Tobago tunes. A book case on various subjects, even a book called Trekking in Trinidad and Tobago (there are trails not far from our place). Also play cards, games, domino.
The house has 13 cedar double doors, with screened tramsons above, 2 roof dormers. In addition to the trade wind, it is well ventilated with 6 Hunter 52" ceiling fans, it is very comfortable.
INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL RATE: A compact a/c car for the lenght of your stay, with a full tank of gas to return the same.

ELECTRICITY: 110V and a double socket with 220V for up north guests or friends. In addition, as the power network in Tobago can be a little temperamental, we added a KOHLER 10KW GENERATOR with an automatic transfer switch and timer. You are never without electricity.
WATER: There are 4 x 850 gal and 2 x 450 gal in reserve and enough hot water.
LAUNDRY ROOM: a large, airy space with a washing machine and dryer.
GAZEBO: A 16 x 16ft covered dream gazebo is connected to the house and under roofs. Its style and size are unique in the region, and is a comfortable outdoor living place, from early morning to night time, a place to eat, read or play a deck of card or domino. There is also a swing for the children in the shade, a few feet from the gazebo.
BEACHES near by, swimming, scuba, diving.
TREKKING there is a trail in the neighbourhood.
RELAXING in our oversized hammocks or loungers.
Our past guests or friends loved our place.They were unanimous to say: Why fly 7,000 miles to look for a chlorinated swimming pool or better a plunge pool which is too hot to sit by, when the cooler white - yellow unpolluted sandy beach with palms is exactly 1 mile, less than 5 minutes away by car. Rental rates per property per week, all year round, regardless of season.
For the 2 bedrooms, 4 perons US$ 1,400
For 1 or 2 more persons US$90 per weeks
Included in the rental rates;
1)An a/c car delivered at the airport. for the lenght of you stay, with a full gas tank, to return the same.
2)A welcome at the airport and to be guided to the villa. 3)As you arrive at the house, fresh fruits on the bar, a first breakfast pack in the refrigerator. Mineral water,
soft drinks and 2 cool Carib beers.
4)During your stay, fresh fruits from our garden, bananas, limes allyear round. In the season, Mangos, avocados from July to October
