Welcome to Dos Sols ? an enchanting 3 bedroom, 4 bath Caribbean villa nestled on the hillside directly above a white sandy beach on North Sound, Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. The unique layout of Dos Sols ? with its main house and separate bedroom cottages surrounding a fresh water pool ? provides you with the space and privacy to do just as you like, when you like!
Just steps away from the beach, this luxury villa, set in a lush tropical garden, is perfectly suited for couples or families. Swimming, sunning and excellent snorkeling off the beach of Little Leverick Bay are all just a stones throw away. If you are sailing, our private seabed mooring awaits you directly in front of the villa. Stroll through our tropical garden and help yourselves to papaya, grapefruit, limes, oranges, mangos, soursop, bananas, coconuts and other fruits and vegetables in season.
The main house at Dos Sols offers panoramic views of the sparkling blue Caribbean and provides a central gathering place for guests. Imagine the cool tile floors, 20-foot sliding glass doors and Casablanca fans, coupled with soft tradewinds and an average year-round temperature of 82 degrees! After a day of exploring the island and enjoying its many water sports, relax in the shade of the porch with an island drink as you watch the setting sun turn sails to a soft shade of pink. Later, stretch out in the Pawley Island hammock and gaze at the distant lights of Anegada island.
The spacious living area, with its dramatic rough hewn cedar-beamed cathedral ceiling, is beautifully decorated with local art and Caribbean furniture. Exceptional amenities include a CD stereo, video, book and music libraries.
In the den you will find comfortable seating, an assortment of table games, cable television and a VCR, and an adjacent full bath.
Dinner seating for up to eight is located both indoors and on the spacious covered patio overlooking the water.
The gourmet kitchen features a center island made from local stone and includes a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, brisker, microwave oven, toaster oven, blender, food processor, pasta maker, and a wide selection of cooking utensils for the most discriminating epicurean! The gas grill on the lower deck is ideal for poolside cookouts.
Guest accommodations are provided in individually-named cottages, each surrounding the freshwater pool and stone deck, and connected with the main house through stone path and steps meandering through a colorful flower garden. "Sea-Aria" with its queen-size bed is ideal for couples.
Each attractively decorated cottage has its own large covered porch, and includes a mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, air conditioner, two beach chairs and Caribbean-style outdoor ? yet private ? shower.
?Poolside? is located in the lower level of the main house, steps from the pool, and is furnished with queen-size bed, private bath with outdoor Caribbean shower, coffee maker, and table with chairs on the deck.
The bedroom design, with windows on all sides, takes advantage of cool tradewind breezes, making the available air-conditioning typically unnecessary. Drift off to sleep with the sound of the ocean. Awaken to the songs of tropical birds and witness a spectacular Caribbean sunrise as you sip coffee from your private porch. ?Grotto? can accommodate either a couple with its queen-sized bed, or up to five individuals with the three additional twin beds.
