Description
This Landmark Cayman Villa boasts 550' of shoreline that includes 300' of white sand beach to the southwest. You are only 250 yards from the finest dive operation on Grand Cayman
The Castle and Guesthouse Villas offer the best panoramic views for your holiday on Grand Cayman. Cayman Castle can sleep 10-12 people (8 adults comfortably) and nearby Castle Guesthouse adds another 6 people (4 adults comfortably) for a legal maximum total of 18 people (including children 2yrs old+). I also have (2) cribs available.Cayman Castle measures 5,500 ft? and the nearby Castle Guesthouse 2,000 ft?. Each of the 4 - 6 bedrooms offers a large en-suite tiled bathroom and central air-conditioning. We have tried to include as many luxury features as we could in its renaissance. This will be a home first, and a rental villa second. We found with our first villa on Grand Cayman that if your home looks like you don't care about it, then neither will your guests. We visit frequently, and try to keep both of our Cayman homes in great shape. The sandy beach is walled from the road and (soon) will have an oleander hedge as well for privacy.

# (4) Large Master Suites. 8 Beds total ( 2 kings, 2 queens, 1 queen sofa-bed, 1 full sofa-bed and one set of bunk-beds. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Oversized tiled/glass block showers and granite counters throughout all bathrooms. Solid wood bedroom doors and low profile ceiling fans.
# 1,500 ft ? (partially) covered 1st floor Terrace & freshwater pool and large non-skid (pavers) sun deck overlooking the ocean. Stunning heated (Dec - Apr) pool offers "infinity-edge" feature. Safety features for pool (lifesaving pole, throw-ring, safety railings, ladder, etc.). One step off our driveway is 400' of mostly sand beach (some rocks in cove). Poolside outdoor shower with hot & cold water.
# Large (second floor) tiled 600 ft? Sun Deck with teak 10 - 12 person dining table and 6 teak sun-chairs/coffee table facing the ocean. 42" high balusters/rail for safety.
# 25' x 50' (Semi-circular) Great Room with panoramic views over sundeck through 4 sets of double French doors. Fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and TV area. Ceramic tile and granite throughout house.
# Bed linens (2 sets per bed), plenty of pillows & Bath towels provided. Beach towels provided. Two portable cribs & strap-on highchairs/boosters in storage room on first floor.
# 4-Zone Central air conditioning and ceiling fans. We are on "City Water" (reverse osmosis-very pure), so we have no cistern or water pump (most homes have to catch rainwater in a cistern for drinking).
# Large (stand alone) icemaker in kitchen island, (2 each) front-loading Duet Washers/Dryers, Bosch (quiet) Dishwasher, large stainless steel refrigerator & Microwave and Stainless (propane) BBQ on Sundeck. Small refrigerator under stairs on first floor for easy pool-level access to drinks. Teak sofas, chairs/chaises/benches on pool terrace/deck. Strap sand chairs to take down to the beach.
# TV (42" Plasma) on 2nd floor, (3) DVD/VCR Players, (2) CD/Stereos, board games, (50+) DVDs . Master suites on first & third floors also have LCD Flat-screen TVs with DVD/VCRs only.
# Third floor Master (Honeymoon) suite has a private dining table/desk in the north turret, power & telephone for a work station--for those who feel the need to stay in touch with the office while admiring the view!
# Telephones (1 wired, 4 Wireless), w/ answering machine. Castle also has fulltime DSL modem (free). Wireless too (most of the time).
# Private dock (to be rebuilt after IVAN this Winter)
# Strict Maximum number of persons= 12. No more than 10 adults (18yrs. +) per Minister of Tourism license for the castle itself. 6 more people can sleep (adults or kids) in guesthouse.
# Maid service provided before and after your stay. Daily maid service can be arranged. Cooks/Nannies available for private hire. We also put you in touch with a concierge service www.boatsandbutlers.com for pre-stocking the Castle if desired.
# Wedding reception tables & chairs (seating for 40 people) on site. (Note* we require a $1,500 damage/cleaning deposit for weddings/receptions).
Castle Guesthouse:
* Air-conditioning, ceiling fans and a covered front porch. Colorful Caribbean-style furniture and tiled floors throughout. Teak dining table and 4 chairs.
* (1) King bed suite and (1) Queen suite with 2 (twin) bunk beds. Each suite has a private bathroom with tiled glass block shower and plenty of towels. Sofa and wicker chairs in great room, teak Adirondack chairs, teak lounge chaises and coffee table on deck. Writing desk in King Master.
* Guesthouse pool and oceanfront deck face due East, while Castle's pool/decks face due South; providing sunbathing privacy for guests of both residences. Pools are 120 feet apart.
* French doors, screened transoms and open architecture allow the trade-winds to cool the house on days when air-conditioning isn't a necessity, but maintain security.
* Guesthouse is perched 25 feet above sea level (and 150'+ from road) which enhances both privacy and the view of the ocean, while providing protection from storms.
* 2 phones, washer/dryer, Satellite TV, DVD/VCR & stereo, full kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher & full compliment of pots/pans/cutlery/etc..
* Bath Towels, Pool towels and all linens provided. Some DVD's from Castle collection end up over here as well. Guesthouse also has a Sony Playstation II for inclement weather or sunburned kids. |
