Description
Located on beautiful Lubbers Quarters Cay, Pura Vida offers the most unique island experience in the Bahamas. This cottage is nestled within a beautiful tropical setting. Sandy footpaths lead you to a wonderfully decorated, 2-bedroom cottage with full beds. You'll find a full kitchen with all neccessities and a full bath with a hot shower.
The outdoor deck and front screened porch leads to an incredible view of the flowering landscape. The white sandy footpaths through the gardens will lead you right out to your 100ft deep water dock. This cottage also offers quality solar power with full backup electricity.
Also available is a separate one bedroom efficiency. Complete with full bed, a bathroom, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, TV with DVD player, CD player, coffee maker, and an outdoor enclosed shower. It's a great spot for kids to hang out and provides privacy for both parents and their children. |

Guided snorkeling and fishing trips can be arranged with your reservation.
Lubbers Quarters Cay is conveniently located near other islands and settlements. You won't want to miss a short boat ride to Hope Town to visit the historic lighthouse, the museum, or the fine restaurants. You'll find gift shops throughout town, and can stock up on groceries, fuel or anything you might need.
A convenient network of paths for jogging or walking will take you on a foottrip throughout the island. Beautifully secluded beaches are always moments away.
Offshore fishing can be arranged on our vessel "Island Retriever." It's a 15 minute boat ride to some of the best offshore fishing the Bahamas has to offer. The reef, wreck and offshore trolling is some of the best in the world. Numerous professional fishing tournaments are held locally in the spring and summer. Species include Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, and lots of Grouper and Snapper just to name a few.
Kayaking- We provide two sea kayaks for you to use to explore the secluded beaches and cays surrounding the island.
Snorkeling- Great snorkeling can be done right off the dock or you can venture out further to the third longest barrier reef in the world. In less than 50 feet of crystal clear water you can find walls, caves, and incredible coral mounds from the sea bottom right up to the surface.
Approximately 4 miles south you can experience the breathtaking Sandy Cay Underwater Preserve: one of the world's most incredible reef systems, and definitely one of the best snorkeling dive sites in the Bahamas. |
