Description
Come to Saba, known as the Unspoiled Queen, a completely different island... The Caribbean as it used to be... The Caribbean as it should be!
If you are tired of crowds, traffic, crime, noise, and mosquitoes, then come to Saba. Saba is a small island (five square miles) with a population of about 1200 people that is just a short flight (12 minutes) from St. Maarten. All the homes are white with green trim and red roofs. A fairy tale come true. Within just a few days you will be waving to everyone, just like the Sabans do.
The owners of Garden Cottage so enjoyed sharing their home with guests that they have decided to make their guest studio available for visitors to Saba. (Tom and Lynn now spend a good part of the year on Saba.) The studio has been meticulously appointed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. While furnished in a Caribbean style and decorated with original art work, some say its greatest asset is the outside deck with private hot tub (you control the temperature) for your daytime relaxation or evening stargazing. The deck also has a gas grill and table for your outside dining pleasure. In the garden area a cushioned swing large enough for two comes with a movable canopy for either sunning or sitting in the shade and enjoying the wonderful views. Affordable for one or a perfect romantic get-away for two.
PERHAPS THE BEST VALUE IN THE CARIBBEAN
Located a short walking distance from Windwardside, Garden Studio shares the same expansive Caribbean views as Garden Cottage yet it is completely private. Being at an elevation of about 1500 feet, most evenings are cool. It has its own entrance, deck, and garden area. A double bed (with extra pillows), the sitting area with TV, DVD, and stereo CD player (some CDs and DVDs are provided) together with the full kitchen and full bath guaranty your perfect vacation. While tropical breezes flow through the screened, jalousie windows overlooking the Caribbean, the entire unit is air conditioned if you desire. Saba offers some of the best diving in the Caribbean, some say in the world. Saba has many hiking trails. |
