Description
Our Paradise Penthouse is located on one of the most stunning beaches of the Caribbean. The Sapphire Beach is part of the Sapphire Beach and Resort and Marina, located on the east end of the island.
From our two decks overlooking the beach, the pool, and the crystal-clear water of the Caribbean you also have a spectacular view to the surrounding islands including the national park of Saint John. The temperature is perfect due to the trade winds that surround the island at all time with 85-90F degrees during the day and 70F degrees in the evenings.
From the beach bar you can enjoy romantic sunsets and relax to the tunes of the Caribbean music. The resort offers two restaurants, two bars with nightly entertainment, freshwater pool, tennis courts, and a gift store. It is located in a beautifully landscaped, tropical, vegetation garden amidst palm and banana trees. You can snorkel right off the beach, exploring the two reefs located in front of the beach. You can also rent sailing equipment and/or learn to windsurf, parasail, or jet ski. The attached marina offers boats for rent in addition to planned excursion to adjacent islands including the British Virgin Islands, snorkeling, certified scuba, and deep-sea fishing.
The picturesque, small, fishing village of Red Hook is located one mile away. You can reach it with a leisurely walk and/or use one of the air-conditioned cabs always available to take you to any of the nearby attractions. Red Hook has great restaurants, nightlife, gift stores, and the ferry that takes you to nearby island of Saint John.
Saint Thomas is the perfect vacation place for anyone ranging from: a couple on honeymoon with the secluded beaches and romantic restaurants; to a family with kids enjoying the snorkeling, pool, fishing off the dock or boat, and wildlife viewing; to the active vacationer who wants to hike, scuba, or bicycle. There is something for everyone. You can reach this paradise with several direct flights from all the east coast cities - Philadelphia is four hours.
Our villa offers an open and bright floor plan; from the moment you enter the villa, you have arrived in paradise. The main level offers a full-tiled bathroom, European kitchen/dining room area. The furniture is Caribbean in style with a comfortable, queen-size, sleeper sofa and cable TV. Central air-conditioned rooms in addition to ceiling fans and adjustable temperature settings and candles make this a comfortable place for lounging and relaxing.
A wall of glass opens on to an expansive, patio balcony with lounge chairs and a spectacular, down-island view. A mahogany staircase leads to the second floors' master bedroom. This private suite has vaulted ceilings and a king-size bed adjacent you also enjoy the convenience of a private, fully-tiled bathroom. This suite has its own living room area with a queen-size sofa that opens on a second, large, very private, ocean-view terrace. |
