Description
The Wilson Bay Honeymoon Cottage is on the beach in a small, private cove on the leeward side of Cat Island. The sand is very white and powdery. The entire beach is coral free and there is a small barrier reef about 60 yards offshore. The water is amazingly clear and calm, perfect for snorkeling.
This vacation cottage is built from local stone and hardwood from a sunken galleon. There are plenty of windows and sliding doors to allow the natural light and breeze flow through. Because the house is built on a rocky cliff, nearly every room on the house has magnificent views of the turquoise sea, coral reefs and distant beaches. On calm days you can swim from the dock. Children, with the assistance of adults can enjoy snorkeling the shallow reefs right beneath the dock. Located on a 20 acre estate this is a very quiet and private retreat with it's own very private sugar sand beach. We also have outboard skiffs, runabouts, and inflatables that start a $300 per week. Reservations for these must be made at the time of booking to assure availability. We ask for a 50% deposit to hold your reservation, and the balance 3 weeks before you leave for the island. We also ask for 60 days advance notice of cancellation. |

This cottage rents for $1000 a week for 2 people.
? Each additional person is $200.00 per week.
? $1200 a week for 3 people
? $1400 a week for 4
?Additional nights stay are $200 per night.
Reservations for these must be made at the time of booking to assure availability. We ask for a 50% deposit to hold your reservation, and the balance 60 days before you leave for the island. We also ask for 60 days advance notice of cancellation. |

My family stayed at this little cottage about ten years ago. It was absolutely fabulous. You take ten steps from the house and jump into the water. The swimming there was just perfect. The house is very small, but cozy and just ideal for people who like to get away from it all. It's in a VERY private - I mean NO people around - area. Enjoy!
