Description
Beautiful, fully-equipped and recently renovated, two-bedroom, 1700-square-foot, duplex condominium in Saint Croix, the largest and most varied of the US Virgin Islands.
The condominium is in great condition, but the most stunning feature is the unobstructed view from its living room and outside balcony: the town of Christiansted one mile down an undeveloped hillside, waves breaking over the coral reefs offshore, and an expanse of water ranging in color from turquoise to deep blue. Buck Island and its white beaches can be seen to the east, and, on the frequently clear days, so can Saint John and the British Virgin Islands, some 40 miles across the Caribbean to the north. Sailboats bob in the harbor and every hour throughout the day seaplanes can be seen taking off for the 20-minute flight to Saint Thomas.
In addition to a colorful, fully-stocked kitchen, the unit includes a dining room, living room, and half bathroom on the upper floor, and two bedrooms - one of them a very big master with a separate vanity area - two full baths and an open air atrium on the lower level. The unit is perfect for a family of four to six, for two couples (assuming they get along), or for one couple who want a larger-than-usual space to themselves.

Rate details
A week is constituted by six nights and seven days, Saturday-Friday or Sunday-Saturday. A 50% deposit is due upon booking, with the balance due at least one month prior to rental. If you are unable to go after placing a deposit, refunds will be granted if we are successful in rebooking your week. No refunds will be granted after the balance is paid, but if we are successful at rebooking your week with such short notice, we will allow you to rebook your visit at a future time, depending of course on availability. And speaking of short notice bookings...
Special Rates for Short-Notice Bookings
As shown above, our "rack rates" are $1750/week during high season (Dec. 15-April 15) and $1,050 the rest of the year. However, when we get within a month of the desired week and still don't have a booking for it, we offer the following:
* Four weeks out: $1300 high season, $850 offseason;
* Three weeks out: $900 high season, $700 offseason;
* Two weeks out: $700 high season, $500 offseason;
* 1 week out: $500 high season; $150 (per person in this case only) offseason.
