Description
All of us have some places that are special, secret, and very personal....
....Such is this romantic oceanfront cottage with an exterior of stone and timber. The Cottage at Ocean Point was completed in 1999, and offers all modern amenities in a tranquil setting by the sea.
Large wooden decks are at the water's edge, with lounge chairs awaiting you for sunning, reading, or just sitting there and enjoying this wonderful view of the sea as waves gently lap the shore.
The upper level screened porch is a delightful place to relax and enjoy the view.
Here you can rent a boat and dock it in your backyard, jump in the water from the boat slip, or walk less than four minutes and be on a lovely sugar white sandy beach with a foot friendly bottom and pale turquoise waters ... or walk four minutes and be on the tennis courts - no charge to play. A short drive away is an 18 hole golf course, casino, notable restaurants, SCUBA diving, fishing charters, both deep sea fishing and light tackle, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
The interior has high beamed cathedral ceilings and tongue and groove cypress paneled walls as well as some walls of stone. The furnishings too are quite special; some antique, some whimsical, and all comfortable and high quality providing an environment much above what one would expect in a rental or beach property.
The Cottage at Ocean Point is built on two separate floors with each floor containing a bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a screened porch. It is ideal for a couple or two couples. The Cottage provides total privacy between the floors, but is not good for infants since the two bedrooms are not connected in the interior.
The Cottage enjoys beautiful views of the shallow waters of Taylor Bay and it's less than a four minute walk to Taylor Bay Beach.
There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, but if the breeze should ever stop, air conditioning is available and metered separately.
The lower level also has its own, private screened porch, but the same magnificent view.
Our manager will meet you at the airport when you arrive and will lead the way to The Cottage at Ocean Point where you will begin a most memorable stay.

Note: The air conditioning is metered in order to discourage use with the doors and windows open. It is not expensive if used judiciously and you are not charged for the first $150 per week in usage, after which there is a charge of 28 cents per kilowatt hour. There is a separate, easy to read, digital AC meter so you may monitor AC usage if you wish.
The villa gets a comfortable, almost constant trade wind, so it would be rare to exceed the AC allotment. |

Villa rates are per week (7 nights) for the entire villa.
NOTE: The Turks and Caicos government requires that a 10% tax be paid on all villa rentals and this cost must be added to your final payment. |
