Description
Let us share our "dream come true" with you. Our lovely villa is located on beautiful Bambarra Beach, 80 feet from the water in Middle Caicos, TCI.

As you take the tour, click on any image to bring up a larger version.
Dining/Living Area Enter the Great Room and look through the 12' sliding French doors to the deck, beach, ocean, barrier reef and beyond. In the Great Room you can relax under the ceiling fans.
Sofa Living Area
Kitchen

The kitchen has everything you have at home including full size refrigerator-freezer, microwave, stove, coffee maker, blender and ice crusher for those cooling tropical drinks.

We recently installed a Caicos Pure Water cooler for drinking water (it's installed in the dining area).
Dreamscape has three bedrooms all with queen size beds, designer linens, ceiling fans and air conditioners. Two of the bedrooms are on the ocean with 6 foot sliding glass doors and the third is on the south-east side where the cooling breezes flow through.
Master bedroom Second Bedroom Third Bedroom
Master Bathroom
The master bedroom has a full size bathroom ensuite. The guest bathroom (right) has a green marble top vanity and a 5' tub-shower unit. All linens, towels and beach towels are provided. The interior floors are all done in Italian tile. Guest Bathroom
Now, let's go outside and view the beauty of nature that only God could create.
Deck
The porcelain tiled deck is 37 feet long. There is a white wicker table and chair set for outside dining, 2 padded lounge chairs and, most coveted of all, the double sized hammock and the swinging hammock chair. There is also a full size outside shower on the west side of the deck so you can come up from the beach and shower. An outdoor fireplace-charcoal grill is available for grilling. You will need to pick up charcoal in Provo when you pick up your other perishables.
Patio View
Bambarra is a 5 mile white sand beach where you may easily be the only people on the beach. Take a walk to the west and you will find two reefs complete with beautiful coral, purple sea fans and all the colorful tropical fish you can imagine. To the east is a sandbar leading out to Pelican Island and more enjoyable snorkeling.

Bambarra Beach

It doesn't take long to unwind here. The peace and tranquility of the area and the friendly "belongers" of Middle Caicos make it easy. It is a full time job just watching the turquoise water change color as the sun hits it at different times of the day.

Patio 2
There are locals with nice boats to take you deep sea fishing on the other side of the barrier reef or snorkeling inside the reef.

There is no night life here except for time well spent with family and friends. There is, however, one nightly show that is unsurpassed - step outside and gaze at a sky that is totally star studded. You probably don't have this spectacular show at home due to light and air pollution.

Well, don't take our word for it, come and see for yourself. We look forward to talking to you.

Activities and Attractions

Dining Out: Something brand new on the island! Norma and Brodie Forbes have opened a new restaurant in Bambarra, only a mile from the villa on the main road. Their number is 649 946-6144. Would recommend the fish, conch, and lobster. There also is a new restaurant-bar at the airport. [More about food]

Bicycling: Bikes are now available for rent in Conch Bar. Call the Sports Shack at 946-6174.

Cave Tours: Ernest Forbes Sr. (946-6140) and Cardinal Arthur (946-6107) both do tours of the extensive underground caves at Conch Bar. You can also do a quick stop on your own at the Indian Caves on the way to Mudjin Harbor.

Hiking: The newly dedicated Crossing Place Trail runs the entire length of Middle Caicos, along the North coast. It goes right by the villa, utilizing the old coastal road; it runs through Conch Bar, and out past scenic Mudjin Harbor, Norbelis Cove, and on to where locals used to cross over to North Caicos at low tide. There are also other hikes out to the old loyalist ruins off the newly constructed Half Creek Road.
Bambarra Beach

Don't miss the opportunity to hike to Pelican Cay on the sandbar at low tide.

Fishing: There is excellent fishing both inside and outside the barrier reef. Bonefishing on the sand flats off the south side of the island is as good as it gets. Dolphus Arthur and John Forbes Jr. both offer fishing and/or snorkeling tours on their boats. Cardinal Arthur, Brody Forbes, and Hormel Harvey are also fishing guides.

KAYAKS: We now have 2 NC17 ocean kayaks available for rental. The kayaking inside the barrier reef is excellent in the early AM before the trade winds come up. These nice 17 ft. boats even have rudders to help fight the wind and current.

Sightseeing: Don't miss the scenic cliffs of Mudjin Harbor, the large sea cave there, and the nice view during the winter of Humpback whales passing by. Just beyond Mudjin the cliffs continue out past scenic Norbelis Cove. Car rentals are available through Hormel Harvey (649 946-6101) and Ernest Forbes Sr. (649 946-6140), who also does nice cave tours and sightseeing tours of the island.

Snorkeling: There are two sets of Coral Gardens to the west of the house. One is only 100 yards down the beach and the other main reef is about 250-300 yards to the west. To the east at low tide, a long beach walk brings you to a nice sand bar leading out to Pelican Cay. If you snorkel around the island a nice reef runs along the back side, with quite a variety of tropical fish to be seen here. Close to Conch Bar on the shore road, Samuel's Landing (marked by a bowling pin) provides both good snorkeling and swimming.

Stargazing: Due to both the incredibly clean air and the lack of light pollution, you'll be amazed at how many more stars and how much more of the Milky Way you can see on moonless nights.

Food: As regular supermarkets are not available on Middle Caicos guests have 2 choices when it comes to groceries. (1) After clearing customs you can catch a cab and take a short ride into town and do most of your shopping at either the Island Pride or IGA supermarket ( the IGA is a longer ride, but the produce section is as good as anything you see at home). (2) You can save time and avoid shopping for everything but canned goods, produce and perishables by packing a 60-70 qt. cooler filled with frozen meats, veggies, butter, berries, shrimp, appetizers, liquor, etc., making sure it weighs 70 lbs. or less. The Carib West liquor store is almost across the street from Island Pride so a stop there on the way to the supermarket will take care of any liquor purchases you need to make. Mom + Pop stores are available on Middle with eggs, potatoes, soda, canned goods, rice, long life milk, and flour usually available.
