The Coconut Palms Beach House of South Andros, Bahamas, offers beachfront splendor in a private setting unequalled anywhere. Located on the shoreline of a picturesque and secluded six-mile beach, our two bedroom home is the perfect choice for those wishing a quiet and peaceful respite from the real world.
Following a magically relaxing day on the beach, relax on your beachfront balcony with a cold beverage, be caressed by the cool ocean breezes, and absorb the tropical panorama of swaying palms, turquoise water, white sandy beach at your doorstep.
A two minute taxi ride from the South Andros airport brings you to the Coconut Palms Beach House.
The two-bedroom, two bath home has an extra large living, dining, and kitchen area and a wonderfully wide porch overlooking the ocean, providing a world class spot to enjoy breakfast or dinner each day.
The home is fully furnished and the kitchen equipped with all necessary utensils. Convenience stores for purchasing food are minutes away. Bicycles and ocean kayaks are included for your enjoyment as well.
Days can be spent relaxing on the beach, snorkeling over nearby reefs, exploring the wonderful island of South Andros or, for those wishing to challenge the island’s most famous residents, our elusive bonefish, we will arrange a guide and a flats boat for as many days as you wish. Additionally, private tours are available to assist you in seeing all the magic that is South Andros.
Spend an afternoon on the remote beach at Flanagan’s Cay with your guide, Peter Rolle. Following your shore lunch, Peter takes you snorkeling, fishing, and offers a wonderful boat tour of the area.
A short early morning or late afternoon tour through the forest of South Andros is a must during your stay. Edmund Rahming conducts a magical “Blue Hole” tour that ends with a swim in a secluded tropical paradise.
You may dine in your home or enjoy delicious Bahamian cuisine at one of several restaurants just minutes from your door. If a quiet evening is selected and you don’t wish to cook, you might consider having a full course dinner prepared for you on the porch by one of the best cooks on the island....our caretaker, Wendy Dean!
