Description
Historic Hut Pointe was built in 1944 by the first Premier of the Bahamas (1964-1967), Sir Roland Symonette. Exquisitely beautiful, the two story (2) solid stone building and the house was purchased and completely renovated in 2004 by a group of International Investors who appreciate natural beauty and location. In addition to the solid stone construction, Hut Pointe's interior floors and roof rafters were constructed with all Abaco Pine (now extinct) and teakwood decks on the east side of the building.
This is truly one of the most prestigious and unique buildings on Eleuthera.
Hut Pointe features seven (7) tastefully decorated residences and The Sundowner House. Each residence, including The Sundowner, has two (2) bedrooms, large bathrooms, large living room, kitchen and dining area. All new appliances and the furniture are tasteful and each suite is fully airconditioned, with a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin size beds in the second bedroom, a fold-out sofa in the living room, full service kitchens with gas stoves, ovens and microwave, wireless internet access, satelitte fed television, telephones, DVD player and CD player.
Historic Hut Pointe and The Sundowner House are centrally located on Eleuthera and adjacent to Queens Highway, which is absolutely ideal for those wanting to explore the entire Island. Most importantly, Hut Pointe and The Sundowner have wonderful views and is literally a few minutes walk to the beautiful, deserted, pink sand beaches of Eleuthera. Have a great vacation! |

The above rates include full daily housekeeping services
Rates are based on four (4) persons. Additional occupants up to two persons per accommodation will be charged thirty dollars ($30.00) p/p, p/d in addition to the posted rates.
