Safi Sana, overlooking Nassau’s beautiful Montague Bay, affords our discerning guests with the very best of a home away from home. Safi Sana is fully equipped, rustically elegant, and tastefully furnished and all of its rooms offer unparalleled ocean views of the entrance to Nassau’s busy harbour and mega yacht marinas. Spend the day lounging in a hammock or an Adirondack chaise, on Safi Sana’s covered veranda, or take in some sunshine on its open decks, and when the mood strikes, cross the road for a dip in the beautiful crystal water at our private beach cabana. Grab a snorkel and fins and explore the many coral reefs just meters from the shore. Say hello to the teaming undersea world, of fish and crustaceans that abound on these little heads and shoals. For the more energetic, launch a sunfish sailboat, or windsurf board and scoot across the bay to unspoiled Athol Island just a few kilometers away. Dive up a conch for dinner as you skim across these shallow waters, so clear that each grain of sand is visible from the surface. Or sightsee from the sea, the nearby mansions of Ocean Club Estate on Paradise Island.
Safi Sana is located on the Eastern Road at the eastern end of New Providence Island, where the early settlers, including that famous pirate Edward Teach a.k.a. Blackbeard, built their homes and lookout towers, taking advantage of the prevailing easterly breezes and quiet ambiance of true island living. Eastern Road is one of the few non commercial zones remaining in Nassau today.
Safi Sana is roughly 8 kilometers ( 5 miles ) from Nassau’s city centre and Paradise Island, and 1.5 kilometers from well stocked food stores and other suppliers.
