Description
Welcome to paradise on Grand Bahama!
The fourth largest of the islands of The Bahamas offers something for everyone. The two bedroom ground floor condo was created with attention to detail to give guests a wonderful experience. Part of Riviera Villas Condominiums, Freeport, Grand Bahama, the condo is privately owned and ideally situated only 75 yards walking distance from the secluded tropical white sands of Coral Beach and within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the lively town of Port Lucaya.
The ground floor condo, shown in the picture above with the lounge area windows open, is tastefully decorated and consists of a master bedroom, a twin bedroom, one full bathroom, lounge area, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, set in the beautiful peaceful landscaped gardens of Riviera Villas.
With many travelling to the island for the glorious Bahama weather, average summer temperatures are 86F and average winter temperature are 75F, the condo is designed to ensure your comfort with having cool white floor tiling throughout, new air conditioning, ceiling fans, all windows are double glazed and tinted with mesh screens. Coral Beach is approx. 75 yards walking distance from the condo, shown in the picture above the condo is set directly behind the hotel on the left. Coral Beach is a secluded large beach area with crystal clear waters lapping the hot white Bahama sand. Beach walkers are regularly seen, as are many who come to watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets, snorkeling is another favorite past time, as are shelling, fishing and sunbathing.
Black Beards Beach Bar and Restaurant is a favorite hang-out, directly over looking the water, with lively Bahamian music, drinks and food, make sure you try the conch fritters!
If you wish you can walk along the beach directly to the lively town of Port Lucaya in approx. 15-20 minutes, but remember in the Bahamas who is looking at their watch! To find out more about Port Lucaya go to the Surrounding Area tab on the navigation bar.
Riviera Villas are three individual two story Riviera garden style apartment buildings. It is not a hotel, but a cooperative association of individual private owners of 24 condos. Each of the three apartment buildings are separated by landscaped areas of tropical shrubs and palm trees giving you the privacy you desire. Rather than a hotel that keeps you restricted to set times, do what all the Bahama locals do... take off your watch... relax... and take things at your own pace within your own private condo.
Riviera Villas also offers a community area minutes from the condo, shown in the picture above, with Tiki Huts that let you enjoy the shade, picnic tables and a childrens play area. You are welcome to use the condo BBQ here... maybe BBQ fish you have caught fishing from the beach or from one of the fishing charters available at Port Lucaya. |

KITCHEN ~ Next to the Dining area is the fully equipped Kitchen, with air conditioning and cool white tiling. Close by stores allow you to buy groceries should you wish to eat-in at the Condo. The Kitchen features:

Coffee-maker
Toaster
plus all the essentials for a kitchen
LOUNGE ~ As you enter the condo through the screened door you will find yourself in a spacious comfortable lounge overlooking the lush gardens of Riviera Villas. Air conditioned and ceiling fans throughout with the added touch of cool white tiling help keep you cool in the hot Bahama weather. There are two comfortable sofa's that convert to futon beds, a color television with cable and a telephone available for local calls.
TWIN BEDROOM ~ Next to the Master Bedroom is the Twin Bedroom with air conditioning, a ceiling fan and cool white tiling. The room is spacious with two comfortable twin beds and plenty of storage in the dresser and fitted double closets. All bed linen is supplied.
ADDITIONAL NOTES ~
Washer and dryer facilities are available in the adjacent Laundry House and a Maid Service is offered on the last day of your stay.
All bed and bath linen are provided. As are beach towels, beach chairs and a portable BBQ.
As Riviera Villas is a private condo we offer on-site car parking alongside the condo.
MASTER BEDROOM ~ The Master Bedroom is located towards the back of the condo, with air conditioning, a ceiling fan and cool white tiling. There is a new comfortable queen size bed with plenty of storage in the dresser, fitted double closets, there is also a hairdryer for your use. All bed linen is supplied.
