Description
Ellis-On-The-Bay is a private compound with three separate rental cottages located directly on the crystal-clear waters of Bimini Bay. The compound offers a spacious sundeck, barbecue facilities, outdoor dining area, and an 80-foot dock right at your door! Not a hotel or motel, more like residential living for short or long visits. You'll be in the perfect location to experience the peaceful aspects of Bimini after your day of diving, snorkeling, fishing, or spiritual seeking on the isle of Bimini.
The Santa Maria is a larger 2BR/2BA, with sleeper sofas and an anteroom, which can serve as a nursery or extra sleeping quarters, and has with a full kitchen and dining room. This larger cottage offers a honeymoon feeling, with a huge master bedroom, with cathedral ceiling, whirlpool bathtub, and plenty of space. It sits directly on Bimini Bay with the tide lapping gently at the seawall just outside your door.
We are available for individuals, as well as tour groups, fishing parties, diving excursion parties, and spiritual quest groups. Whatever your needs while in Bimini, we can take care of everything from landing ‘til departure!
Be sure to call in advance as we have last-minute rates for those who head to Bimini on short notice. Certain times of the year, discounts are offered for last minute bookings based on availability.
Our 80-foot dock will accommodate boats with a draft of 4 feet or less. Bring your boat to Bimini with you and enjoy the waters while you are here. |

All the units are completely furnished with linens, towels, pots and pans, dishes and everything else you’ll need to enjoy a relaxing and revitalizing experience on magical Bimini. Amenities include microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, TV, VCR, stereo and cassette player. Just pack clothes, suntan lotion, and favorite tapes. Everything else is there. |

Activities and Attractions |
A five-minute walk on Bimini takes you to secluded beaches with crystal-blue water, white sands and palm trees. The beaches of Bimini are timeless and spotless, they're used in photo shoots for magazines the world over. Who knows what treasures you'll find on our beaches?
Beaches extend the whole length of Bimini, six miles, and wrap around to the east another five miles with wonderful nature walks and shelling. You can walk the entire distance or rent a small boat to take you to your own secluded beach.
For the Bimini road, healing hole, memory rock, fountain of youth, the shark mound, wild dolphins and all that great fishing and scuba diving to be lumped together into such a neat little package is a true gift of the universe. It doesn't matter whether it was presented to us by the hand of whatever Creator you choose to believe in, by a group of aliens, natural conditions, or even by Harpo Marx, the fact is, that because of the presence of so many different anomalies and superlatives, Bimini is a mystical place and we humans love mystical places.
Your five minute walk can take you to meet the fishermen as they come in with their catch. You'll purchase all the fresh fish, lobsters and conch you want, and cook your own feast when you don’t feel like eating out.
There are grocery stores nearby as well as dine-in and take-out restaurants. All within walking distance. Nothing is far from Ellis-On-The-Bay!
Bimini is world famous for its bone fish and blue water fishing. Professional guides are only too happy to take you where the big ones hang out. You can make your own arrangements or we'd be pleased to help. |
