Description
This nicely finished and well appointed cottage is located on the North-East coast of Antigua in Hodges Bay and is available for rental year round . It sits by itself, tucked away on a half acre of land on the windward side of a hill where the Trade Winds keep it cool year round.
It has 2 spacious air conditioned bedrooms: one with queen sized bed and one with 2 twin beds, each with its own full bathroom. The living room, like the rest of the cottage, is outlayed primarily with imported Asian teak furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, toaster and microwave. It's finger-counter seats four comfortably for dining.
The front porch faces the ocean, while the larger back porch serves as an idyllic covered outdoor dining area for six and includes a self standing gas barbecue grill. This porch opens to a tropical garden with a secluded private swimming pool.
There is a large utility room with a washing machine on the property as well as a separate generator room.
Other amenities include American cable television with 64 channels, telephone, and high speed wireless internet (your laptop may connect wirelessly or with standard network cable). A maid service is provided five days a week and tipping is expected.
A three minute walk takes you to Le Bistro, the best restaurant on the island. A further ten min. walk takes you to the nicest windward beach in Antigua, Jabberwok beach, where you can enjoy swimming, diving and even kitesurfing and windsurfing. The V.C. Bird International Airport is a five min. drive away and the island capital town of St. John's as well as Cedar Valley Golf Course are each less than a ten min. drive. |
