Description
Our house sits on a hillside that slopes down to a salt pond filled with bird life and the ocean just beyond. Kiddle Bay, the Caribbean and National Park land complete the view, with no buildings between you and the water. Walk 5 minutes to a neighborhood beach (open only to our small group of houses) with great snorkeling; or for a sandy beach, the National Park Beach at Salt Pond Bay is close by.
The house is on a small, secluded road, yet conveniently close to beaches, hiking trails and a ten minute drive to Coral Bay. Coral Bay has a variety of restaurants, eclectic shopping, kayaking, hiking, horsebackriding and music. A 20 minute drive will take to to bustling Cruz Bay with its shops, night life and ferry.
Spend your days swimming, sunning, hiking, snorkeling and diving at our two private beaches or any of St John's world famous National Park Beaches.
The upstairs of our air conditioned, duplex house includes two bedrooms with a double bed in each and one bath. The great-room living and eating areas are open and inviting. A covered deck stretches across the entire back of the house. This well appointed retreat is comfortable and beautiful. The caretakers live downstairs.
We're surrounded by the ocean on one side and National Park on the other side. If you're looking for a place away from the crowd where you can enjoy the calm, serene life of the island, this is it. |
