Nestled in the trees and located away from the bustle of Cruz Bay, this charming one bedroom home takes full advantage of the breezy trade winds and the shade provided by the umbrella of native trees that surround the house. Looking west the verandah offers sunset views of the calming waters of Fish Bay, to the East a short walk takes you down a path to the breathtaking beach at Reef Bay within the National Park forests. Reef Bay has a luxurious long beach and is a shell seekers’ dream. Off the beaten path, offering lots of privacy, it is possible to have the beach all to your self at times.
If you are a couple that enjoys the serenity of the native forests and are looking for a private getaway, this comfortable cottage is for you! Tranquilité was built with care and sensitivity to the flora and fauna that surround it, giving the feeling that you are one with nature. Birds nest in nearby trees and sing to you in the morning, at night the sound of tree frogs lull you to sleep. All the while you are comfortably accommodated in this recently refurnished interior, which reflects the best of Caribbean simplicity in taste and design.

The owners include an internationally exhibited island artist and a noted Virgin Islands landscape designer who together, have made this a very sweet retreat. Their home at Guavaberry Farms, neighbors Tranquilité, and includes access to a swimming pool, a short footpath away.
