Description
Ocean Terrace Condos are located so we are convenient to everything but still have absolute privacy. The Island is 3 miles wide at it's widest point, and just 17 1/2 miles long. We are less than ten minutes from Shoal Bay Beach (my favorite). Island Harbour is just a couple of minutes longer and Junks Hole is closer, about 5 minutes away. There is a grocery store a mile away and we are just a couple of miles from The Valley. A ride to the Anguilla shore, Rendevous Bay (another favorite) is a must. That will take you about 15 minutes.
Our condo unit as you can see has fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea, St. Martin and St. Barths. On a very clear day you can see the hill caps of St. Kitts also. Most days in Anguilla are very clear and dry. Afternoon rain showers are always welcome. You might even catch a rainbow...Bob did (another condo owner) during his stay last winter 2006.

The master bedroom is quite large with a king size bed, walk in closet and a large bath with an oval tile tub and shower. The private balcony off the master bedroom is furnished with chairs, lounge chairs and end tables. The sunsets are absolutely fabulous!
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need such as; coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, dishwasher, blenders for those frozen drinks on the balcony or at the pool, and a breakfast bar.
The kitchen, living room and dining room are one large room. It works perfectly so you can enjoy the view while cooking in the kitchen, eating dinner or watching a little television. No walls to obstruct those fabulous views. They are decorated with beautiful rattan and mahogany furniture that adds to your Anguilla experience. Why not have dinner on the balcony off the living room!? We often enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the balcony. One glorious day in March we were fortunate enough to catch the whales playing off the Anguilla shores. March seems to be the month the whales visit Anguilla and as luck may have it, they particularly like the waters off the shores where our condo is located.
The guest room has 2 twin beds that are perfect for children. The twin bed frames can be locked together to make a queen size bed and a body foam pad is placed over the mattress' for even more comfort. The guest room has an attached bath with a tile tub and shower. The closet is large with sliding mirrored doors. Pleny of room for those guests who like to bring their entire closet on vacation.
You might ask yourself why rent a condo if I have to cook and clean. No worries there. A cook can be arranged on request and our condos have full maid service 6 days a week. They will even do your dishes! That works for me!!! |
