Description
From this paradise retreat, set atop Craigston Point,
all rooms command panoramic views of Sparrow Bay to Union Island in The Grenadines.
A Shower.... is located on the lower ground floor for easy access from the beach.
An airy porch like environment
is created by floor to ceiling louvered doors.
There are hard wood balconies throughout.
This two storied villa also has complete living facilities on the ground level.
A spacious open living/ dining area, with local stone floor, opens onto ocean view verandas.
"Sankofa" from the ancient Akan means "honor the culture of the past",
and SCI-Arc, California trained architect Brian Bullen, designed this "home away from home".
Architect, Enrico Como, contributed added refinements and interior designs.
Both worked closely with the owners to combine historical elements in an ultra modern structure.
Sankofa has been featured in Maco and the Caribbean Architect magazines.
It's designed for the romantic privacy of newlyweds or for a family holiday. |

Amenities |
Your staff will make the beds, launder bed linen and towels, clean the bathrooms, mop the floors and wash the dishes and take out the garbage, arrange for fresh fish and lobster (in season) and will fillet the fish and boil the lobster for you.
Three bedrooms:
Master bedroom suite on second level
with standard double bed, en-suite toilet, sink and shower over an oversized tub.
Excellent views from the bed and two balconies.
Second bedroom has twin beds, en-suite toilet and sink.
Third bedroom on the ground floor level
has a standard double bed, a single bed and en-suite shower, toilet and sink.
This third bedroom is air conditioned. |
