Description
Your daydreaming about a holiday where you are gazing at spectacular sunsets from a terrace, surrounded by poinsettias and exotic ixoras, you are engulfed with the fragrance of night-blooming jasmine and listening to the waves as they gently lap the shore below. As day turns to night, the refection of the moon off the water seems to leave a path across the sea to what you left behind. Before retiring for the night, you take a mindnight swim in your private pool and count the stars above you.
Amberjack House, a lovely spacious villa was designed by a leading Caribbean architect to take best advantage of the views and
breezes and to capture the best in island living. Amberjack House is located on the exclusive North West end of Tortola in an area
of fine private residences and beautiful beaches. Three landscaped acres of tropical plants and fruit trees surround it. The panoramic views are spectacular in all directions with the island of Jost Van Dyke, Long Bay and Smuggler's Cove beaches, and the lights of St. Thomas at night. Nearby is the Long Bay Beach Resort with excellent dining facilities. Road Town, the capital of the British Virgin Islands, is less than a 25 minute scenic drive. The average year round temperature is a pleasant 75-85 degrees. |

Maid service is provided daily. The grounds and pool are well cared for. Our local managing agent can provide a chef or help with car rentals, taxis, boat charters or advise on markets and restaurants.
The island's computerized telephone service allows direct credit card or collect calls to the United States and the rest of the world. The US Dollar is the official and only currency. |

Tortola is perfect for a relaxed and unhurried vacation. The nearby coves and white sand beaches will please the most demanding swimmers, sailors, snorkelers, windsurfers, joggers or walkers. In Road Town and the West End there are excellent cafes and restaurants offering a variety of cuisine. There are fine grocery stores where you can satisfy most of your needs. St. Thomas with its endless shops is just 45 minutes away on the ferry. Peter's Island and Little Dix Bay, among the most luxurious Caribbean resorts, are a short distance away. |
