Description
Located on a sloping hillside about a 15 minute walk from Hillsborough, Carriacou's main town,
the Wilson's have added a downstairs apartment in their home.
Mr. & Mrs. Wilson are retired. Mr. Wilson was born in Carriacou; his wife in England.
They are quiet people, willing to share their island knowledge or leave you totally alone.
Your decision....
The walk from Hillsborough is up a dirt road - no heavy traffic here.
You'll see cows, sheep, goats, donkeys and a nice selection of island flora and fauna.
There are lime trees, mango, gospur, coconut palms, banana....
A taxi ride costs US$2.75 in case you don't want to walk home from a night visiting Carriacou's rum shops.
The property is fenced and the Wilson's have two large, friendly dogs.
The apartment has a small front porch and enters into a large common area.
There is a private bedroom with two twin beds and a private bathroom with shower.
Laundry facilities are available. Sheets, towels and kitchenware is provided.
There is good light and the feeling is openness and airy.
There is a well landscaped yard with beautiful, red flambouyant and frangipani trees (even a rare yellow one). |

Rate details
Rates are in U.S. Dollars, plus Government Tax and Service. Reservations are not considered confirmed until prepaid in full. Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% of the rental is due 2 months prior to the date of arrival and is completely non-refundable. Deposits are 100% refundable, less a 10% administrative fee and a 2.95% credit card processing fee, only if notice of cancellation is received in writing at least 60-days prior to the date of arrival.
Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.
