Description
Water's Edge is located at The Cays near The Hermitage on Exuma. This newly-constructed water-front villa comfortably accomodates one to six guests.
There are three bedrooms and three full baths. A large wrap-around porch faces beautiful sunsets over the water. A fully-equipped kitchen awaits you. The house also features vaulted ceilings, central air conditioning, ceiling fans throughout, and high-quality furnishings.
We really are located at the "water's edge." Just a few steps from the front door and you are at the calm and clear water. There is a small marina on the property and a dock close by. We also have use of a beautiful pool that is shared with only a few other homes. You will have the pool and beach to yourself almost every day, as most of the other homes are second or third vacation homes owned by absentee owners.
If you want peace and quiet, look no further. A relaxing walk along the sand at sunset is worth the price alone.
This property also features a fully stocked "honor bar" located at the poolside cabana, outside showers and restroom, and a beautiful white sand beach with palm frond "umbrellas" for when you might need a break from the sun.

This island home features a master suite with its own bath and walk-in closet. The master suite opens through French doors to the beach- side covered porch. There are two more well-appointed bedrooms with two full baths. All linens are, of course, provided.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a bar area and dining area opening onto the Living Room. Telephone service is included and provides you with unlimited local calling. Other calls may be conveniently made with the purchase of an international calling card. Calling cards can be easily obtained at most stores on the island. A television is located in the living room.
There is wi-fi internet access available at the house. Check your e-mail while enjoying spectacular sunsets.
Make sure when renting a vacation home on Exuma that you are not so remote that it takes 40 minutes to buy some ice/groceries. Our central location is very convenient to many markets and great restaurants, but without being right in the hustle and bustle of George Town.

Located only 90 minutes from south Florida, Exuma is an undiscovered, unspoiled island full of deserted prisitine beaches, friendly people, and many options of things to do and see.
The islands of the Bahamas constitute one of the smallest countries in the world, and Exuma island in particular is just large enough to have adequate infrastructure (good roads, a medical clinic, doctors, veterinarian, etc.) but small enough to offer the lucky visitor a vacation they will never forget.
You can be busy all day exploring the rich history of this island and taking advantage of the world-class snorkeling, scuba and fishing opportunities, or you can simply enjoy your peaceful existence at this well-appointed and comfortable waterfront home.
George Town is Exuma's quaint village overlooking Elizabeth Harbor. It embodies the soul of Exuma; no traffic, no crime, no stoplights and no malls. Enjoy shopping for souvenirs at the outdoor Straw Market. Visit the quaint hardware store for a new set of snorkeling fins, or enjoy a delicious meal at one of the cafes. The pace is slower here, but that is precisely why it is such a wonderful vacation spot.
If you want a day (or night) of excitement, it's easy and affordable to book a flight to Nassau, just 45 minutes away by air. Once there you can experience a different island pace, see the impressive Atlantis Hotel & Casino, visit the rum factory, view historic sites, play golf, or stroll the many shops downtown. You'll be glad to get back to Exuma, though, to relax and unwind.
Because Exuma, like the rest of the Out Islands, is relatively flat, it's a great place to walk and bicycle.
