Description
The Hotel "Scoutīs Place", is unique on Saba. It is an old established Saba hotel constructed in the typical quaint Saban style. It is now under German management for the very first time. The perfect place for your dive vacation in the Caribbean! The hotel on Saba where you can get everything out of one hand: diving, budget accommodation, restaurant service and a great bar with a lovely local touch. Meet the Senator or the fisherman at the bar, enjoy the great view from your hotel terrace or just relax at our own hotel pool. Looking for good diving on Saba, great hiking, personalized service, good entertainment and a lovely Saba hotel ? Well, you have found it ;-)

All rooms have been recently renovated and feature the following categories:
Category 1 is located at the first floor and has the most reasonable price (regular rooms): all rooms have an ocean and village view and are equipped with shower/bathroom, toilet, cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, common balcony, internet access with own laptop & double or two single beds (one room has three single beds). Five rooms available.
Category 2 is located at the second floor and the most reasonable price (deluxe rooms): all rooms have an gorgeous ocean and village view and are equipped with shower/bathroom, toilet, cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, common balcony, internet access with own laptop & double or two single beds (one room has three single beds). Five rooms available.
Category 3 located in a separate building at Scout's Place, the so called former Saba government guesthouse. ("cottage" rooms): all rooms have a nice ocean and village view and are equipped with shower/bathroom, toilet, cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, own balcony, coffee/tea maker with daily complimentary coffee & tea supply, internet access with own laptop & double beds. Three rooms available.
The NEW "Scout's Pirate Cottage" (available immediately): newly renovated by September 2006. The former "Kids Corner Cottage", an old Saban Cottage for you and / or you and your friends or family? No problem. The luxurious furnished and spacious (about 80sqm / 750sqft) two bedroom, one living room, full kitchen, bathroom & porch with ocean view cottage is there for your private Saba hike or dive vacation. You have access to hotel pool and restaurant since close by. Refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, DVD player, cable TV, music system and wireless hot spot (soon available at the cottage) are included. Walking distance to most supermarkets, some trail heads, many restaurants, tourist office etc.
