There is a large open-air veranda that overlooks the lovely pool and garden area.
About 250 meters to the beach - a very private area. Large active public beaches are 3 kms away. Cabarete is the water sport capital of the Caribbean (a very international place). The embayment of Cabarete is always dotted with windsurfers, kiteboarding, etc.
The villa is within a development that has a golf course (9 holes). Two larger more spectacular courses designed by Robert Trent Jones are also located on the north coast: Playa Dorado and the breathtaking Playa Grande.
The villa is 17 kms to the airport. Various transportation options exist: car rentals, taxis, local buses, etc. All easily attained.
The house lies between the tourist communities of Sosua and Cabarete in a peaceful and private setting away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby towns.
Restaurants are excellent with varied cuisine at affordable prices.
There are many grocery stores nearby with a wide range of products. The Dominican is also renowned for excellent rum, world class cigars and great coffee.
For a varied experience take a drive through the mountains to the historical city of Santiago which is little more than an hour away. The drive alone is worth the trip to Santiago. |
