Description
Myrtle's Cottage is located between the airport and the village of Windwardside in the village of Hell's Gate.
This wooden cottage, built in 1930, still retains many of the features of a traditional Saban cottage, but with all the modern conveniences. It has 2 bedrooms (1double, 1 twin) a living room, fully applianced, eat-in kitchen, tile bathroom, a private front porch and back deck.
From the porch you can relax and enjoy looking at Mount Scenery, while from the back deck you will experience breath-taking views of six other islands. Our cottage boasts some of the most spectacular views on Saba! On clear nights you can see twinkling lights from six neighboring islands. Enjoy an occasional partial sunset peeping from behind Mount Scenery and the North West. Cruise ships pass so close you feel like stepping off the island and onto their decks. Chances are that you may even see a school of whales. And lastly, our view overlooks Saba's postage stamp airport. So, relax and enjoy your stay. |
