This delightful, romantic, guest house of charming elegance offers you five suites with en-suite bathrooms, named after local birds.
Choose from the Mot Mot Suite with king size bed and private jacuzzi suite, the Tanager Suite with queen size bed and own kitchen for those who wish to self-cater, or one of the double suites: Jacamar, Bananaquit or Hummingbird. All suites are air-conditioned, have private balconies with seating, are equipped with room fridges with ice-maker, security safes and tea/coffee making facilities
Panoramic views from the main balconyGuests will not be disturbed by telephones, loud music or TV here, although Direct TV, internet connected PC and a telephone are installed in the library for those who need to keep abreast of things in the outside world. Neither will guests see or hear any main roads, barking dogs or cockerels while at Mount Hay Retreat...even insects are scarce high on this sunny hill-top. |

The Mount Hay Retreat offers just five different suites. Each has an extensive list of features to make our guests feel at home.
Each of the five suites is uniquely decorated to luxurious standards and kept spotlessly clean. Our staff will take great care of you while you stay with us, whether your stay is a pure caribbean vacation, a wedding or honeymoon, or based around more natural activities such as birding/walking in our own 17-acre private forest/fruit gardens, bordering the famous Grafton Caledonia Bird Sanctuary
Suite Features
Mot Mot SuiteWe have several different sizes and layouts for our suites. Each one has a sea and forest view, with a private balcony with seating. All suites have ensuite bathrooms with showers and baths and are air conditioned. In addition, each suite has a fridge, security safe and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Mot Mot Suite (king size bed) is equipped with a jacuzzi, bidet, "his and hers" face-basins and shower.
The Tanager Suite (queen size bed) is situated on the ground floor, is adjacent to its own kitchen and is suitable for those who wish to have the option to self-cater.

Children at Mount Hay Retreat
We regret that children aged under 10 may not be accommodated at Mount Hay Retreat. Well behaved, quiet and supervised children aged 10 or above are welcome and are treated as adults for reservations, eg max 2 adults per suite, therefore a family of four must book two suites |
