Hummingbird Heights is a spacious two-bedroom fully self-contained apartment, offering comfortable accommodation for up to six, and/or a twin-bedded en-suite guest room for the individual traveller or couple.
Privately owned and managed, this lovely property is perched on a gentle hillside in a quiet and safe residential area of Tobago’s capital, Scarborough.
Following the short 25-minute complimentary transfer from the airport, the mood is immediately set at Hummingbird Heights by the private pool area with its terraced garden, abundance of plants, flowers and bird feeders.

The pool area features a 34ft x 14ft swimming pool, shade, sun beds, fridge and large BBQ – ideal for those alfresco meals. The pool is available to guests at all times of the day or night.

A small supermarket is a five minute walk away and the centre of Scarborough just a 15-minute stroll. It is only a five-minute drive to the lovely palm-fringed sandy beach at Blue Haven.
There will always be a friendly face on hand to advise you where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc., and provide information on local nightlife or arrange local tours and excursions – even a beachside breakfast can be arranged as an ideal accompaniment to an early morning dip.
If you are unattached, have no worries – should you wish, we will accompany you, whenever possible, and can arrange escorted island tours.

A bright expansive self-contained apartment offering a range of views. The private balcony, leading off the spacious living area and overlooking the pool, provides breathtaking panoramas of Scarborough and the ocean beyond. The plants and flowers on the balcony echo the bright vibrant colours in keeping with the traditional ornaments and abundance of comfortable pine furniture in the apartment.
Hummingbird Heights ApartmentThe bright Caribbean colour scheme is continued in the two large comfortable bedrooms – one a double, the other twin bedded.
The bathroom offers a very large shower, ideal for freshening up before an enjoyable evening of local culture and a rum punch or two. Two very comfortable bed settees in the lounge increase the total sleeping capacity to six.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cater for those quiet nights in, or by the pool: double sink, large fridge, cooker with oven and grill. The open plan style, with a multitude of windows, provides natural light with spectacular views.
All rooms at Hummingbird Heights have both floor-standing and ceiling fans to ensure your comfort. The apartment has a mini-safe, cable TV, a CD/radio and an electric iron.

Hummingbird Heights Bed & Breakfast Guest RoomIf there are just two of you escaping life in the fast lane, or if you are a solo traveller, then Hummingbird Heights also offers a B&B package to suit you with no single room supplement.
Our twin-bedded en-suite guest room commands the most beautiful views from the main window. Once again, the vibrant rich colour scheme is continued throughout and ceiling fans ensure your comfort.
Hummingbird Heights B&B Guest Room Shared ApartmentIn the morning, you can enjoy breakfast either in the living room or on the balcony. Breakfast consists of traditional bacon and eggs and we recommend that you sample the juicy tropical fruits and local breads, such as banana or pumpkin bread, nicely preparing you for another day in paradise.
The living room has cable TV, so even in the Caribbean you will be able to keep up to date with sports and current affairs.
The bedrooms in the apartment and the Bed & Breakfast Guest Room are fitted with 220v electricity three-pin flat plugs compatible with all UK electrical items. All rooms are also fitted with a hair dryer.
The owner's laptop computer is also available to guests and offers full Internet access for email. A reasonably-priced taxi service is available for guests who do not wish to drive. |
