Description
"Candles....in the wind " is a newly established family run Host home accomodation located on the Enchanting island of Tobago in the West Indies.
Our eight (8) Bedrooms are each provided with an ensuite toilet/bath, hot/cold water, cable television, builtin cupboards, air-condition and ceiling fans.
There is a mix of Double and/or Twin size beds in each room.
At present,the entire building can comfortably accommodate as many as Twenty Four (25) persons in a cosy, air-conditioned homely setting.

Amenities |
We have two (2) fully equipped Kitchens (one on each floor of the building) which comprise of the following:-
Two extra large side/side Refrigerators/ freezers with filtered ice and water dispensers.
Two large capicity cooking ranges.
B B Que Grill (gas).
Microwaves.
Toasters.
Electric kettles.
Coffee percolator.
...and a generous assortment of cutlery and utensils.
We have also provided a large capicity washer and dryer in the Laundry area that is available for your free usage.

Activities and Attractions |
During your stay with us, we recommend some of the following;
A lazy stroll along the pristine beaches of nearby Store Bay, Pigeon Point or one of the many others around the Island's coastline.
A journey on a "Glass bottom boat" towards the Famous Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool.There you can snorkle among the hundreds of tropical fishes, observe the huge "Brain coral" (in Speyside) and other Marine life.
Ride the surf at Mount Irvine beach and maybe have a chat with another International Surfer like yourself.
Trek through the Lush Rain Forests and discover the Flora, Fauna and waterfalls of the Island.
Dive into the clear Caribbean waters off Speyside or Charlotteville and encounter the gigantic but gentle Manta Rays. Swim with them while being escorted by a kaleidoscope of other Tropical fishes darting in and out of your path.
Maybe you wish to flex your arm and putt that golf ball way across the greens to the next hole. Care to do so on one of our Championship Courses? See you on the greens.

If nothing else, you must include among your luggage your suntan lotion, swimwear and snorkels.
You can easily rent Bikes or vehicles from nearby Rental Firms at nominal rates and tour the quiet country roads.
While on the island, don't hesitate to sample the local cuisine which must include our delicious,ever popular "Crab and Dumpling".
Our HouseKeeper Emlyn would be happy to attend to all your needs including preparing meals comprising of Local Cuisine or International dishes,at your request.
MOST OF ALL,...abandon time and savour the enchantment that Tobago has to offer.

GROUP RATE ( 10 PERSONS and more) US$ 20.00 per person, utilising ALL bed space.
Children under three (3) years- FREE.
Children under twelve (12)years- 1/2 Price
In addition to the above and due to the increasing demands from previous guests we have added affordable mixed Dormitory accommodation in the Attic of Candles in the wind.
We have installed an initial twelve (12) single beds and there is ample room for a whole classroom, if required.
The washroom facilities are shared while use of the fully equipped kitchen on the other floors is available together with self-serve laundry services.
Dormitory style accommodation does NOT get better than this.
In fact the following Backpacker’s rate for a single bed space is as follows :-
One to Six Nights---US$25.00 / Night.
Seven Nights and over US$22.00 / Night.
Fourteen Nights and over US$20.00 / Night.
You can also enjoy Paradise while on a shoe string budget
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING WITH YOU.
Complimentary Airport pick-up available when Owner, (Andrew) is on the island.,as at times, he visits Trinidad.
