Description
Peponi is a Swahili word meaning "place high above where the wind blows". Situated on the crest of Snow Hill, Peponi enjoys a spectacular 360 degree view over the old lime plantation to Carriacou's highest peak and Union Island in the north and over the wide sweep of Hillsborough Bay to the uninhabited out-islands in the south and west.
Peponi was designed and built by Creative Design, the company who completed the reconstruction of the Financial Building on the Carenage in St. George's and who were the exclusive designers/builders of St. George's University in Grenada.
The main attraction of this villa is the spacious west facing veranda, 24ft x 12ft, ideal for a lazy breakfast watching the yachts and trading vessels in the turquoise water of the Caribbean below or the sun as it dips below the horizon heralding the cocktail hour. There is also a cool rear veranda which leads to the newly added plunge pool, 13ft x 8ft, set in the foundations of an old dance hall, once the social centre for the workers on the lime plantation. The garden features native plants and the owners continue to add plants which encourage the numerous birds and reptiles, including a newly arrived young iguana. |

Amenities |
Open plan living/kitchen area, tastefully decorated, with double doors leading to the front and rear verandas. Very well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, full cooker and all you need to cater for 4 persons. Spacious master bedroom with queensize bed, built in closet and en-suite bathroom. Guest bedroom with queensize bed and en-suite bathroom has its own private entrance from both verandas. All windows are screened and the villa enjoys lovely natural breezes.

* 8 minute walk through trees to daytime bus service to town.
* 5 minute walk down steep private steps and estate track to Tom's Bay.
